Mr. Heims has prepared and prosecuted patent applications covering a wide variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies including automotive brake system, mouse and computer peripheral devices, copiers, shredders, battery and battery related arts, packaging technology and a variety of other arts.
Mr. Heims specializes in helping clients bring their innovative products to market. His work includes filing and prosecuting patent applications, conducting prior art searches and investigations, assisting clients with design-around efforts, patentability opinions, non-infringement analysis, patent validity opinions and patent litigation, including that before the International Trade Commission and Federal Court.
